That's very funny! Let us know how things turned out if you can. Photos too if possible.

My cake adventures taught me that baking is not the exact science I had always been told it was.

You're right, Bing. And maybe we have to make it thrice! To find out if it's important to start cooking the cake before adding the flour. :lalala:

I have to admit, Brilynn, that I would not have had the nerve to take it out of the oven and add the flour. Just before T opened the oven to do just that, I pursed my lips and said that we should just cook it to see if it wouldn't just turn into a sort of chocolate souffle or mousse.

I can see myself forgetting to put in flour too... I generally put ALL the ingredients onto the counter and put them away as I add them. That way, if there is anything left on the counter after I think I've mixed everything in, I know I forgot to add it. (or... umm... rrrr... forgot to put it away... :lalala:)

That's awesome! I love that it turned out, I can't believe you pulled it out of the oven and added in the flour. I could definitely see myself forgetting the flour, but it would take me about 3 days to realize what went wrong with my cake.

Now you have to make it again (maybe twice!) to find out if your recipe should say 3 cups or 2 cups of flour.
