about solicitations

If you are thinking about suggesting that your company can improve my stats, google search results, and/or mend broken links, and/or amend page titles, and/or…, don’t be even remotely surprised when your request echoes into deafening emptiness.

Over the past few months, I’ve received an increasing number of solicitations with offers to improve my website. Some of the solicitations are auf Deutsch and the prices are in Euros…. I wonder what part of the following is tricky to comprehend.

English is the language of preference (because that is what I speak). However, if you wish to use a different language:
Use at least three languages in at least one sentence per response. >%^7^^^7^^
-me, here on etherwork.net

Please note that this website is not part of a business. It’s simply a personal website I put together, because I felt like it. I do not have a staff. I do not get paid for the work done here. Nor do I pay anyone to do work here.

I like it this way.

I don’t really care what number I am on the search results. If people find our recipes, then that’s great. If they don’t, it’s not going to be the end of the world for anyone.

I like that too.
