aren’t fridge magnets wonderful?

fridge magnets We got these fabulous fridge magnets for Christmas. (Hmmm… is someone trying to tell us something?!)

Haha!! We continue to ignore the magnets. Last night we had the most stellar dinner: roast chicken a l’orange, roasted potatoes, sugar snap peas, popovers, Argentinian shiraz followed by apple pie with a cambazola-like blue cheese.

Did we take photos? I’m afraid not. Trust me when I say that it not only tasted fabulous but it looked divine as well.

I’m sure I will get back to blogging more regularly. And when I do, I promise to post (with photos) about vinar terta, paté, poppycock, shortbread, stock, buckwheat crepes… – soon… soon….

Happy New Year!

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year to you, Elizabeth! I love the firdge magnets… but then I have a soft spot for funky fridge magnets ;-) All the best for 2007 and I look forward to reading about all the stuff you mention in your “coming attractions”. Ooooh, and EoMEoTE is poised for a comeback this month – watch this space for details :P

And a very Happy New Year to you too, Jeanne! As you can probably surmise, I too am a fan of funky fridge magnets. These new ones are placed just below one of my favourite magnets picturing a clown that asks “did you eat a bowl of stupid for breakfast this morning?” Silly me. I can’t help but laugh as I say “Who me? Why yes!” :)

EoMEoTE is returning?! Now THAT’S incentive to get back into the swing of blogging! (Although… I’m not sure that I’ll be up to the rigor – I suppose you’re expecting some sort of Greek epic poem this time? :whee:)
