Please join us while we celebrate the life and music of the Russian composer, Dmitri Shostakovich (September 25, 1906 – August 9, 1975).

Along with lieder, we will be playing some lovely dances for two violins and piano, as well as the wonderful 6th string quartet, composed in the summer of 1956.

Not only will there be Shostokovichian (!!) music, but there are also door prizes and after the concert, you will be invited to stay for complimentary birthday cake, served with tea and coffee (regular, herbal and decaf!).
