We started our celebrations on the 23rd, having an Eve of Christmas Eve feast with good friends. As part of the appetizer, T made the best chicken liver pate that goes fabulously with molasses fennel rye bread. This was followed by spinach lasagne and salad with mandarin oranges, red onion and a simple vinaigrette. For dessert we had various goodies, including vinarterta – the best ever was the decree.
