We have recently discovered the wonders of Santa Rosa plums. They are sweet and juicy with just a hint of tartness. And they make the most amazing pie! How is it that plums are not one of the standard fruits for pies? Plum pie tastes like a cross between the best sour red cherry and rhubarb pie. It’s wonderful with vanilla icecream for dessert or with plain yoghurt for breakfast. This is the life!
