We had dinner in friends’ garden the other night – beautiful. We took over the last bottle of T’s dad’s stash, a 1964 St.Emilion. It had the most amazingly fruity and jammy nose. The taste was not quite as full as promised but it was still great. I never cease to be amazed that wine can last so long.
After dinner, we transplanted a rosebush and a huge clump of garlic chives to make room for lavender, ginger mint and tarragon in their garden. I am now the proud owner of some of the garlic chives. I just put them in our herb garden today – WHAT does one do with garlic chives??
