summary: homemade bacon smoked in a gas barbecue (we use a tray of woodchips on one side of the barbecue): 1. Sliced and ready for cooking; 2. just out of the smoker; 3. cooked and served with toasted Flaxseed and Prune Bread; this time round, we used the “simple bacon” recipe at amazingribs.com: Porknography > Making Bacon From Scratch (click on each image for larger views and more photos of homemade bacon)
