Don’t be fooled by looks. This is delicious.
A while back, on FB, my sister-in-law posted a video about how to make Vegan Faux Gras. We LOVE foie gras, so of course, we had to try it. And it’s delicious. It’s a little more like duxelles than foie gras. Even though we might have added a bit too much beet. (We eyeballed the amounts.) The colour is rather lurid….
And because we aren’t vegan and weren’t serving the spread to vegans, we put actual butter on the top. Of course we did.
