Excuse me for replying to myself. How foolish of me to speak so quickly. I just got back from playing a concert north of the city. The snow WAS staying on the ground there (and on the highway, and on all the highway signs) The driving was rather unpleasant. Most people were driving well for the conditions but one SUV driver proved with 100% accuracy that brain cells are sucked right out of a person the moment he is perched behind the wheel of an SUV. Some boo! bozo in an SUV boo! came up behind me and started tailgating and flashing his bright lights at me to move over. Yes, it was a three lane highway. Yes, I was driving in the middle lane. However, only the middle lane was visible; the other two were snow covered. Not to mention that the wet snow was falling quite thickly making visibility very poor. stomp stomp stomp (My response? I adjusted my rear view mirror to flash his headlights back at him. He got the message and moved over onto the snow covered INSIDE lane, passed me and went forward (not much faster than I was going....) to the next car and no doubt did the same thing to that driver. The only thing that makes me happy about boo! SUV drivers boo! is that north of Toronto, they have to pay $.90/liter to fill up the gas guzzling tanks.

boo! * boo! *! boo! * boo! * boo! * boo!

When do WE get to have at last! all around??

Yesterday it was around $.86/liter, which is still pretty pricey for those gas guzzlers.

boo! Wet slush * boo! on the ground and roads this morning when I got up. Oh oh stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp

edit: I just heard that gasoline was over $1.00/liter in Vancouver last week.

(Please note that this thread is in the public "anything and everything" section)

Is that the same isle that is covered in Spring at last! at last! at last! at last! at last! at last! at last! at last! at last! ?

Clearly, this is the price that must be paid by those who live so close to paradise. skip

Ha! You're so funny.
I pay 0.95 UK Pounds per litre. That is the equivalent of $2.17 (CAN)

I knew there were huge discrepancies. And I was suspecting that the price for gasoline was markedly higher in Europe... We just heard on the news that gasoline is $.05/liter in Venezuela. (Yes, that's 5 cents.)

Ah, isn't google wonderful:

You are probably seeing at last! at last! at last! at last! at last! at last! at last! at last! at last! as well. Once again, this is the penalty for having spring at last!.

The snow has disappeared. I was riding my bike yesterday and saw at last! at last! at last! in front of one house and lots of potential at last! at last! at last! in front of many houses.

Gasoline prices are up to $.93/liter (and no doubt rising)

Clearly, there is a correlation between gasoline prices and existance of at last! at last! at last!

at last! at last! at last! at last! at last! at last! at last! at last!
I had a dream with dozens of hummingbirds and even a huge woodpecker all fluttering around a beautiful garden. One of those sunny yellow earlymorning dreams full of greenery and delightfulness.
There was no mention of fuel prices though.
hmmmm.

Ooh! skip

Hey, how come I don't have that kind of dream? Most dreams I can remember involve boring things like not being able to find the room my final exam is being held in. I would more likely have a dream about fuel prices boo! than hummingbirds and woodpeckers bravo!.

at last! stomp at last! at last! stomp

Wouldn't a bird emoticon be swell? Happy Easter!
