Perhaps I'm very old fashioned to expect public washrooms and toilets should be unlocked on weekends in April (not to mention the rest of the months of the year).

But no. We have to wait until the May 24th long weekend if we want take pee breaks when enjoying the outdoors.

(Do you think the city has shares in "Depends"? Is that why the public toilets are closed for more than half the year?)

CTVNews: Toronto unveils automated, pay-as-you-go toilet

But, unlike the other public toilets in Toronto, will this be available year round? AND, more to the point, has it been polar tested?

Make sure you have your quarters ready!

20 years!!! Oh my. I wonder where next year's toilet is going to be installed.

2.5M people in Toronto.
20 toilets

125000 people in each queue.
Allowing 2 minutes per visit.
2*12500=250000 minutes
250000/60=4167hours
4167/24=173 days for the person at the back of the line
