I have added a spoiler tag for use when talking about movies and books. Here is an example:

Spoiler (highlight to read):
This didn't need to be hidden! nothing spoiled here... note that emoticons still appear in the spoiler box. Only text will be hidden

stomp stomp stomp stomp la la la stomp

To do this: Make sure that BBCode is enabled and hit the spoiler button above the posting window (or type "alt+r"). The following will appear:
Code:
[spoiler]

Your text to be hidden from general view would follow - note that emoticons still appear in the spoiler box. Only text will be hidden.

and then, please remember to close the spoiler by hitting the spoiler button again (or type "alt+r") The following will appear at the end of your spoiler text:
Code:
[/spoiler]

Spoiler (highlight to read):
I find the easiest way to use the tags-with-buttons is to type the text, highlight it, and then hit the button.

A cool thing about the highlighting of the spoiler text is that
Spoiler (highlight to read):
the stomp emoticons skip look whoo hoo! like la la la ghosts
. bravo! bravo!

You can use CTRL-A to select all the text on a page, if you want to read all the spoiler text without using the mouse or other keystrokes to select it.

Using CTRL-A is very useful when a web page has an annoying background that makes it almost impossible to read the text. When you select the text, the background goes away under the text.
