Today I permanently deleted my Facebook account. I will decide over the next couple of weeks whether to delete my Twitter account also. If this doesn't make me give my blog more attention I suppose it will go too.

Personally I doubt I can completely abandon Facebook. I'm at a point now where I visit Facebook only 2 or 3 times a week for about 5 minutes each time. I did quit altogether for many months but was persuaded to go back some people on my contact list. I now realise that these people just want to read...

I have no idea if this would work but you could try uninstalling Firefox and then reinstalling it (after backing up your bookmarks first). I think the latest version is 3.6. I abandoned AVG late last year in favour of the Microsoft Essentials (free) for protection against viruses, spyware, and other...
