This "Catering Line" Magnum Food Mill (Stainless Steel) is great for making smooth as silk sauces and also terrific for apple sauce.

The food mill actually looked much cleaner. The camera has picked up more than the naked eye.

It was so good that we made it again not long afterward, milling the sauce through wider holes for a coarser but equally delicious gravy.... Gravy that was perfect to pour into popovers.
