With "Sweet Cream" or "Guava" ice cream.
We bought some wonderfully fragrant yellow plums. They were a little on the mushy side but were absolutely excellent for pie!
Just a small slice now, please. We want to make sure there's pie left over for breakfast.
Some people like LOTS of ice cream. On this occasion, "sweet cream" ice cream was the choice.
Other people like a little less ice cream. "Guava" ice cream for this slice. And it was phenomenally good too!
The next morning we had pie for breakfast with yoghurt drizzled with a little honey and the best cafe latte - made in our Vesuviana coffee maker... look at that froth!
My subscription to Saveur magazine runs out this month. So I renewed it for three years and look what I got as prizes!
The "book" Italian Classics Vol. 2 was a bit of a disappointment but I love my hat!!
