Peppered Pecans

Ingredients serves 2 hogs
¼ lb butter
1 lb shelled whole pecans (uniform in size)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp freshly ground pepper (or more)
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Melt butter in shallow baking pan. Add pecans and stir well.
- Bake 10 to 15 minutes stirring every 5 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with salt and pepper, stirring well to coat.
- Let nuts cool in pan. This recipe is very nice for gifts. Pack them in attractive looking jam jars with good lids.
