We turned left to head towards the lake. There, below the cherry trees, was a class of young children laughing and wildly running. Some had their eyes tightly squeezed shut and arms outstretched. Who knew that anyone still played Blind Man's Bluff?! The children were having so much fun racing around and were oblivious to all the adults who were standing around gaping at the blossoms and snapping pictures.
We continued heading toward the lake and then turned west towards Grenadier Pond. The willows were blossoming too and forsythia was competing for attention. Blackbirds sang jubilantly.
