MrsBrown, one of my forum participants, recently posted a recipe for ginger garlic asparagus. Well, we had to try it out. And she is right. Asparagus prepared that way is wonderful. We (we, being T & I) still both agree that we think we have a slight preference for lightly steamed asparagus drizzled with fresh lemon juice and a little butter. Surprisingly, I thought that nothing would ever induce me to say that asparagus with Hollandaise sauce is not the most preferred method. However, I am now compelled to revise my order of preference:

  1. steamed asparagus with fresh lemon juice and butter
  2. ginger garlic asparagus
  3. steamed asparagus with Hollandaise sauce
