Zorra’s (Kochtopf) 1st Bread Baking Day went very well with 31 delicious herbal entries! (read the BBD#01 roundup). And for all you bread bakers out there who would like to participate in this event, Becke (Columbus Foodie) will be hosting the second round of Bread Baking Day. She has chosen “bread with fruit” as the theme; she wrote:
One thing that we all have in common is our passion for baking. And this month, I’d like you to include fruit in your bread recipes. It can be any kind of bread (yeast, quick, etc) and any kind or form of fruit (fresh, dried, preserves, etc). So the guidelines are simple. It has to be a bread and it has to have fruit in some form. Let your creativity guide you! Use your farmers markets for inspiration. Most of all, have fun and bake something delicious!
How to participate?
- Bake a bread with fruit, take pictures (if possible) and blog about it between now and Wednesday, 1st of August 2007.

Wow. This is going to be a difficult one… but only because there are so many choices! (Oooh, I think that apricots are in season here in Toronto in July! I hope I can get some good local apricots for this!!)
