update on storebought coriander transplant (early June2006)

I am always thrilled in the spring when everything is so eager to grow that even herbs from the vegetable grocery aisle will take root. The coriander that was transplanted a couple of weeks ago has grown considerably and is now starting to go to seed. (lobelia in front, pandan leaf behind, bay tree on left)

July

As I suspected, the coriander that was transplanted in June went completely to seed by early July. (snowbush in small pot on left, lobelia in front, cayenne pepper and alyssum flowering behind)

August

The coriander seeds have completely dried on the stalk. I put a few of the seeds into the soil below but they haven't sprouted yet. - August 2006
