Another obsession of mine: The tags on my mp3s must be correct and complete. I never had this obsession, that is until recently. The other day I received a Sansa Fuse for my birthday. Having never owned an mp3 player of any kind all of this tag business was new to me. The Fuse sorts my music not ac...

There are so many things, both big and little.... But one thing I'm constantly aware of...... lip smear. While drinking from a glass; whether it be water, milk, wine, soda, I constantly clean the rim of my glass with a napkin. Especially if I'm eating something at the same time. I hate it when I see...

This is one we will come back to. We recently came across a wonderful 1956 film called Le Ballon rouge (The Red Balloon). It won an Oscar and a Palme d'Or in the short film category. Here's the WikiPedia link: Wiki The film is beautifully shot on the streets of Paris. Link here for a few screen shot...

I know I'm weird - it's true, some might even say a little sick. But I'm the kind of guy on seeing an unfamiliar trash bag, for example. In place where it shouldn't be I immediately think; body parts, dead kittens and other stuff you don't even want to know about. If I were sitting somewhere - anywh...

We loved this film. A best original screenplay nomination for an Oscar (scroll down on linked page) is always a good bet for a good movie. This one's a winner.

Good Dick (Good Movie)
Although Rotten Tomatoes only gives the movie Good Dick a 46% rating, we found it to be quite charming. What clinched the deal and persuaded us into giving it a try was a quote I found in a forum when researching the movie. The worst movie Ive seen in a while. No theres no p-o-r-n, though they talk ...

Very cool. Next time I have trouble sleeping I'll give it a try. [...] Forget sleep. Two that I thought of while making dinner.... which are kind of topical since our neighbourhood was without electricity for 24 hours a few days ago. No power = No heat. Outside the temperature was -18 Celsius. In t...

Facebook can be fun. And I think if one is willing to invest a little time and energy, it can likely be a meaningful and rewarding experience.

I used to be a member but quit after a year or so. I didn't like being friends, pinched, poked, invited and having people write on my wall. Altogether too much housework.MEF wrote:[...]So, any other opinions, experience, etc. ?

When files are created, deleted, or modified they become fragmented. Fragmented simply means the file is not stored in one place in its entirety. Different parts of the file are scattered across the hard disk in noncontiguous pieces. The more fragmented files there are on a drive, the harder the com...

Re: "Gone Baby Gone" - Killer Movie
Not a big fan of Ben Affleck. Big fan of Dennis Lehane. I certainly hope Casey Affleck is a better actor than his brother since he can't be worse.... :whoohoo: I liked this movie very much. Thought provoking - with enough twists and turns to keep you wondering. Also, a good look at a Boston neighbo...
