...which is preferable to have with a baked potato: only the meat in a stew, or everything but the meat in a stew (ie: the stew's sauce made from vegetables, herbs, etc.) Of course, most people would choose the sauce. I'm glad they came clean! http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2009/01/23/music-inauguration.html I could see that the quartet had been prerecorded. But it wasn't being mimed -- it just wasn't amplified. This is ab...

Re: Facebook - any good??

[...]So, any other opinions, experience, etc. ? I used to be a member but quit after a year or so. I didn't like being friends, pinched, poked, invited and having people write on my wall. Altogether too much housework. Dataryder Yes, that was all quite irritating. I find that the "new facebook...

I always peak ahead. I started peaking well before Advent I WONDERED if there was anyone that devious. (Reeling back the tape to see if I somehow managed to show something that shouldn't have been shown....) Alas, I didn't find anything. AND if I had found something (which, I repeat, I didn't) I wo...

This might be one I'll miss. I LOVED "Get Smart" when it was on TV and I don't want to spoil the memory. (I'm afraid to watch reruns of it too.) What I liked about the movie is that it didn't spoil the memory of the TV show at all (I'd avoid reruns, though.) Steve Carell is really wonderf...

Is one supposed to test it? Then should we put it into the freezer? I'd take a look at it to make sure it isn't getting furry. Smell it to make sure it smells right. And if you're skillful, you could shave off a little to taste it... and then make a judgement about whether it needs to be frozen. I ...
