Are you going to turn off your lights?

Post by ejm »

Are you going to turn off your lights for an hour on 28 March? (Did we talk about this last year?) It seems a little bit dumb to confine the energy conservation to just one hour on one day. Because of course, turning lights off for just an hour isn't nearly enough. So... don't forget to turn off your lights whenever you're not using them!! wrote:On March 28, 2009, you can VOTE EARTH by switching off your lights for one hour. Or you can vote global warming by leaving your lights on.

The results of the election are being presented at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009. We want one billion votes for Earth, to tell world leaders that we have to take action against global warming.
For complete details about how you can participate in Earth Hour 2009, please read the following:

Earth Hour: Vote Earth - The World’s First Global Election
So... have YOU backed up your files lately? And defragged too!?

Yes, I am, to show solidarity. But I wonder why we can't have Earth Century instead of Earth Hour.
